Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Calcso (“the App”), developed and operated by Yelgen (Melih Telli) (“we”, “us”), collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We only collect the data needed to provide and improve the App:

• Account data. If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication identifiers. Authentication and account storage are handled by Supabase.
• Calculation history (optional cloud sync). If you are a premium user and enable cloud sync, your calculation inputs and results are stored in our database (Supabase) so they are available across your devices. Without cloud sync, history stays on your device.
• Diagnostics and crash data. We use Sentry to collect crash reports and error diagnostics (e.g. device model, OS version, stack traces) to fix problems.
• Advertising. For non-premium users, Google AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier and limited usage data to serve and measure ads.
• Purchases. Subscription and purchase status is processed through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Usage analytics. We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage events (e.g. which screens are opened) to understand how the App is used.
• Feedback and suggestions. If you submit in-app feedback or suggest a standard/feature, we store the message you write together with your account identifier (and e-mail, if provided) so we can review and act on it. Community suggestion votes are stored with your account identifier.
• Notifications. Daily notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push token or notification data is sent to or stored on our servers.

2. How we use your information

• To provide core features (calculations, drawings, history, export).
• To sync your data across devices when you enable cloud sync.
• To manage subscriptions and premium access.
• To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance.
• To display advertising to non-premium users.
• To communicate important service or security information.

3. Third-party services

The App relies on the following service providers, each with their own privacy policy:

• Supabase — authentication and database (account & cloud history).
• Google AdMob — advertising (non-premium users).
• RevenueCat and Google Play Billing — subscriptions and purchases.
• Sentry — crash and error diagnostics.
• Resend — transactional account e-mails (verification, password reset).

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed above, strictly to operate the App, and where required by law.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your calculation history from within the App, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable period.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with our providers using industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Children

The App is intended for engineering and technical use and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and Turkey’s KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. International transfers

Our providers may process and store data on servers located outside your country. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
